HIKE: Genesee Mountain Trail Outer Loop

⛰️ Genesee Park | 35 min from Denver | Easy | FREE | Route

3.5-mile loop trail near Kittredge, Colorado. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 1 hr 30 min to complete. It is a loop with 450 feet of elevation gain. This area is popular for birding, mountain biking, and hiking, so you will likely see others on the trail. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit in the winter; you may even see some American Bison. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash.
