HIKE: Sunny Aspen, Old Ski Run, and Lodge Pole Loop

⛰️ Mayer Ranch Park | 30 min from Denver | Moderate | FREE | Route 

4.3-mile out-and-back trail near Conifer, Colorado. Generally considered a moderately challenging route with 925 feet of elevation gain, it takes an average of 2 hours to complete. It is a very popular area for birding, hiking, and mountain biking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The trail is well-marked, well-manicured, and with only a few muddy spots given the runoff. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.
