HIKE: Dinosaur Ridge

⛰️ Matthew Winters Open Space | 25 min from Denver | Moderate | FREE | Route

3.7-mile out-and-back trail near Morrison, Colorado. It is considered a moderately challenging route with 700 feet of elevation gain, and on average, takes 1 hour and 45 min to complete. Fantastic views of Red Rocks and the surrounding geologic formations (dinosaur fossils). Bring boots, as trail conditions may be muddy. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash. Free parking at the visitor’s center or on the side of the road.
